Frisky Goat

The Frisky Goat in the CBD sits in the lobby of a beautiful, heritage-listed building that was Brisbane’s original high-rise building on George Street and offers one of the best coffee’s I’ve had. Smooth, never bitter, and consistently balanced.
Supreme Roasters is the specialty coffee they use and it never disappoints. I drank my coffee here about four days a week for eight months while working on George Street and loved the staff who were friendly, warm, and quick which is important when on your way to work or to a meeting. The décor is not outstanding but certainly not bad either, and offered tables inside and out and the option to read a newspaper while waiting, or you could use the Beat the Q app and order ahead.

There is a reason people line up at Frisky goat and why they wait patiently for their coffee.

CAFE 63

Who doesn't like an all day breakfast?

Cafe 63. What a find. Tucked away at the end of Hyde road at Yeronga and then a right turn; it is inviting, clean, fresh and buzzing. I loved the shady decor of crisp, black and white table cloths, fresh flowers and grass floor to reduce noise. There is ample parking, a park across the road for children and a huge menu with generous serves catering for breakfast and lunch.
The cafe is around a year old and the coffee is great and believe me I would walk out of any place if the coffee's bad. The service is friendly, accommodating and they also sell flowers. They will go out of their way to ensure they find you the best table indoor or outdoor.

Prices were very reasonable and they have free wi-fi.
